About the class

How can I find just the information I need on the web and apply this to my job? What are shortcuts to read less and learn more? This class will enable you to write more substantial, well-sourced and timely articles about issues that matter and improve the speed and the quality of your journalism. The same principles and techniques can be applied to other professions.

To do the most important part of the job -- reporting and writing -- as quickly and efficiently as possible, as well as write compelling feature stories that might take weeks. How to do this? The tricks of digital journalism apply to anyone struggling to manage their information flow and get work done.

This 1-hour class pulls back the curtain on the most effective tools to structure your information flow, and a system to make it all work together, and then dives into techniques to make this work for you. We'll cover everything from social media streams, RSS feeds and email, to organizing writing projects.
